The personality values of such a nonsurvivor persist as a factor in the personality of the actualizing Supreme Being. PART I

A day is as a thousand years with God...

The Standard Paradise Day

Paradise-Havona standard day is based on the length of time required for the planetary abodes of the first or inner Havona circuit to complete one revolution around the Isle of Paradise; and though their velocity is enormous, owing to their situation between the dark gravity bodies and gigantic Paradise, it requires almost one thousand years for these spheres to complete their circuit.

37,000,000 worlds [based on the number of worlds in the first Havona Circuit] take 1,000 earth years to make a revolution around Paradise.

In 1,000 of our years, 37,000,000 worlds will pass by one point on Peripheral Paradise as they revolve around the outer edge of the outer circuit of Paradise satellites (seen as the outer ring of 7 worlds in the image above).

Let's look at this concept for a moment, mathematically...

37,000,000 worlds divided by (/) 1,000 earth years, means that 37,000 of those worlds have passed by any point on the extreme periphery (circumference) of Paradise, in one earth year. That's cruizin' right along!

In one earth day - using the exact length of one earth year: 365.242199 days (being 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, 46 seconds) - about 100 worlds (actually, it is 101.3) pass by that same point.

Remembering that there are about 86,400 seconds in a day, 4.2 worlds pass in an hour, and 1 world passes by every 14.2 minutes (or every 852.9 seconds).

That is about how many worlds would be passing by an observer on Paradise, of course that is with 21 Sacred Spheres moving in and out of the field of view. Looking in at Paradise from one of the worlds of the inner-most circuit would look something like this (though this is seen from about a 20 degree angle above Paradise), one still gets the idea of where those 21 Sacred Spheres might be at any one time...

Paradise System Side View

Many months ago I proposed some hypothetical measurements for Paradise at UBRON.

For lack of even a clue, I used the light year (LY) as a unit, and then applied that to the Paradise Ratio.

The Paradise Ratio: RP = x:y:z (1.67:1.0:0.1), but in this case I made the Isle 7:6:0.6 LY. I've chosen the 7:6:0.6 because it is closer to the numeric translation of the UB text.

In form Paradise differs from the inhabited space bodies: it is not spherical. It is definitely ellipsoid, being one-sixth longer in the north-south diameter than in the east-west diameter. The central Isle is essentially flat, and the distance from the upper surface to the nether surface is one tenth that of the east-west diameter.

My original guess for a Paradise measurement...

If 1 Paradise Unit = 1LY

x = 7.0 LY (North – South)

y = 6.0 LY (East – West)

z = 0.6 LY (Upper - Nether)

So, using a deductive approach, going by the first whole numbers as Paradise Units, and assigning a one light year measurement to each Paradise Unit, I theorized the above.

Of course, the guess was completely arbitrary since the earth's orbit around the sun doesn't seemingly have anything to do with the rate at which light propagates.

But you have to start somewhere. And that's where I started...

For a more graphic idea, axes x and y are laid down in a flat plane, superimposed through a greatly flattened, ellipsoid (The Paradise Isle - First Physical Source [FPS]), and should look something like this...

Well, to finally start getting to the new point...

I believe that there may actually be a relation of light speed to distances on Paradise after all. I will be getting to that relation in Part II. For now though let's examine the problems and possible pitfalls to this argument, along with some other cosmologically considered numbers.

Life in the Paradise-measuring world would be much easier if we knew what the Paradise unit of measurement really was.

And, it would be really really nice if the actual size of the Isle would be related to the speed of light. How much time does it take a ray of light to travel from one side of Paradise to another? The speed of light is = 299,792.458 km/s.

If we were actually fortunate enough to find a correlation between the Isle of Paradise and the speed of light (or any universal constant), then we will have the key to unlocking the (probable) sizes of Paradise, Sacred Spheres, and Billion Perfect Worlds.

If we know that, then we can surmise the amount of local space that the Central Universe takes up.

Then we can more closely figure how large our Superuniverse of Orvonton must be.

Once that is accomplished, we are told that the giant Andromeda Galaxy is outside of the Grand Universe, so estimates for the size of the Grand Universe could be tendered.

That Andromeda is so relatively close (anywhere from 1 to 2.6 million LY's from us), we might as well begin to estimate a chart the Primary Outer Space Level (OS1), where we are also given the hint that there are no less than "375 million" galaxies.

For the shape of OS1, think of a torus (a donut) filled with 375 million galaxies. At it's center is the Grand Universe with 7 some-what distinct "aggregations of matter" around it's center, each being a Superuniverse. They would maintain an orbit around their center of gravity, which brings us back to the Central Universe, and at IT'S center, the Isle that holds the whole bloomin' thing together!

It is interesting here to note that Bill Sadler, Jr. in his A Study of the Master Universe estimated that every Outer Space Level was 100 times larger in volume than the last. So, naturally, estimating the size of the Primary Outer Space Level (OS1), we would have a volume of 375 million "cubic galaxies" - with all the intervening space around them. We could then estimate enough room in the OS levels to (theoretically) allow...

Potential Number of Outer Space Galaxies

OS1 = 375,000,000 galaxies

OS2 = 37,500,000,000 galaxies

OS3 = 3,750,000,000,000 galaxies

OS4 = 375,000,000,000,000 galaxies

This brings the possible number of all outer space galaxies to roughly: 378,787,875,000,000 or about 378 Trillion. That's a lot. And it is really hard for me to believe it sometimes.

All of this assumes that these galaxies would be packed in tightly to the same 3D unit (a "cubic galaxy" - whatever that is - may be a cube with each side = 250,000 LY?), which might not-at-all be the case.

But anyway... In actuality, each torus-shaped
space level, even the whole master universe, would also be stretched into the ellipse showing the general shape of Paradise and the Central Universe orbits of the Havona Circuits, as they also follow "...the curve of the great ellipse" - the outline of Paradise.

Here is the quote that really gets me thinking...

One Paradise-Havona day is just seven minutes, three and one-eighth seconds less than one thousand years of the present Urantia leap-year calendar.

423.125 seconds total

Now if that doesn't look like some kind of code I don't know what does!

And notice how incredibly accurate that earth-Paradise/Havona time is when comparing the two in earth seconds...

* 1,000 earth years = 31,556,925,993.6 earth seconds

* A Paradise/Havona (PH) day = 31,556,925,570.6 earth seconds

* The difference
between 1,000 earth years and a Paradise/Havona day = 423.125 seconds

To find the percent of accuracy for this comparison, we simply take the PH day (in earth seconds) and divide it by 1,000 earth years (in earth seconds) and then multiply that number by 100 to make it a
percent.

So...

31,556,925,570.6 earth seconds / 31,556,925,993.6 earth seconds

= 0.99999998659565256496187798569975 * 100

= 99.9999986595652564961877985699%

The earth's orbit could literally be used as a clock for the central universe to within an accuracy of:

99.9999986595652564961877985699%

For all intents and purposes 1,000 years of earth time IS equal to 1 PH day.

Now, there are many strange coincidences in our world. For instance, what are the chances that in our sky the apparent sizes of our sun (93,000,000 miles away) and our moon (a mere 238,857 miles away) are exactly the same? Not very good you say?

But in fact they are so close in apparent size that they are able to create a total solar eclipse (where the moon apparently covers the sun completely), while solar prominences are still able to be seen leaping off that same sun.

The great coincidence of a solar eclipse is not presumably planned. Neither is the 1 day to 1,000 year coincidence planned, but it is so specifically given (down to the 1/8th of a second!), that surely the information we are given was planned by the Revelators, in order that we might investigate this clue and its meaning to the relationships between Paradise, the Central Universe the Superuniverses.

Lets look at this another way now...

Understanding the formula for the circumference of a circle is 2rp , we can then say that the earth travels in a mostly circular orbit, as follows ...

r = 93,000,000 miles; the distance from the earth to the sun

p = 3.1415926535897932384626433832795...

So, 2rp = 584,336,233.6 miles

The earth's orbit takes takes the planet on a
584,336,233.6 mile path through space each year. Therefore, in 1,000 years the earth travels 584,336,233,567.7 miles through space.

If the inner circuit worlds of Havona were traveling at the same speed as the earth, then they would also go 584,336,233,568 miles in that same 1,000 years.

And, if 584,336,233,567.7 miles is the circumference of the inner Havona Circuit, then it would be about 92,999,999,999.9 (or 93 billion miles) from one of those inner circuit worlds to the center of Paradise.

That means that the distance from the inner Havona circuit to the center of Paradise would be almost exactly 1,000 times the radius from earth to sun, or 1,000 AU's (Astronomical Units). It is important to remember that that would only be the case if these worlds moved at “earth speed.” The earth travels along its orbital path at 67,062 miles per hour.

Interestingly, if this was also the speed of a Havona Circuit I world it would take a photon traveling at c (if this were even possible), an average time of 133 hours to travel from the center of the Isle of Light to one of these inner Havona worlds, that's 5.5 light days, or about 0.015 LY (light years).

Before I go on to talk about how all this relates to the speed of light and the size of Paradise (in Part II), I have to ask you to ask yourself: does that size 0.015 LY seem tiny, especially when considering that you still need to squeeze three circuits of Sacred Spheres in, and then the whole Isle of Paradise itself?

This relatively minuscule amount of space - perhaps comparable to a large solar system - is going to accommodate the activities and beings from all future creation?

Just sounds small is all.

On the other hand, we at UBRON have talked before about the Havona spheres really whipping along (at near c!). For now, I would consider the circumference of that inner Havona Circuit at “earth speed” to be the absolute minimum size of that Circuit. That's where I'll pick up in Part II.

How I Feel about Politics and Why!!!

I have always had very negative feelings toward politics. I know that we all have the right to our own feelings about everything in our country. Every time that we get close to choosing a new leader for our country, my whole body cringes. We are told to vote for the person of our choice, because if we don't then we won't have any say in matters that affect our lives and our country. Personally speaking I feel we don't have any say anyway.
We listen to the debates and all the promises the candidates promise to the country. How if we go for this person we will be heard, but then we vote for the person we like the most, the one with the best qualifications and/or best things offered and still the poor people are never heard!!!
Don't take me wrong I am very proud to be an American. Both my brothers have served in the armed forces, as a matter of fact one is still serving our country, with pride I may add.
I just get so tired of all the empty promises offered by the people running for office. Every time we get a new president we get told they are going to improve education, and it never happens. Instead everytime the government needs money it get taken from education. I am a teacher and I know what I am talking about. Every time we get a new president we lose more school programs, that our kids need in their lives. Programs for special needs students.
Like I said before these are my personal opinions. I am also upset about why our homeless and needy people can not get any kind of assistance, but our money gets sent to other countries. I think we should take care of our people first. No one comes to our country's aide to help our homeless, sick or needy. I feel that as Americans we should be able to speak our minds and be heard.

Another issue I have with politics is this outrageous war. As the video below shows all the good things we could have done with all the money that goes into the war. Why fight a war that will never end? Why go to a country that has been fighting for centuries, and we have no business fighting? It is their war, not ours! Our son, daughters, husbands and wives get sent to get killed, and for what? For a war that isn't any of our business anyway. Then their innocent women and children get killed by our soldiers and we are the ones considered infidels and killers, by their hateful soldiers.

The Cost Of War

TOO!! Many innocent lives wasted and for what? What are countries trying to prove to eachother. I think that if we had no war and we could all just get along, we could learn so much from eachother. There is so much good in the world, and so much knowledge. We could all save our world from destruction, and make it a wonderful place to live. A place for our children to enjoy someday. I feel as it is now, our future generations have nothing to look forward to, because we choose to act destructively! I pray that God helps us to realize what we are doing to our world, before it is too late!!

Certain other gravity traverser's are personal beings, such as Gravity Messengers and Transcendental Recorders, but they are not available to the super- and the local universe administrators. The worlds teem with angels and men and other highly personal beings, but they are handicapped by time and space: The limit of velocity for most nonenseraphimed beings is 186,280 miles of your world per second of your time; the midway creatures and certain others can, often do, attain double velocity--372,560 miles per second--while the seraphim and others can traverse space at triple velocity, about 558,840 miles per second. P.261 - §0 There are, however, no transit or messenger personalities who function between the instantaneous velocities of the gravity traversers and the comparatively slow speeds of the seraphim, except the Solitary Messengers.

P.261 - §1 Solitary Messengers are, therefore, generally used for dispatch and service in those situations where personality is essential to the achievement of the assignment, and where it is desired to avoid the loss of time which would be occasioned by the sending of any other readily available type of personal messenger. They are the only definitely personalized beings who can synchronize with the combined universal currents of the grand universe. Their velocity in traversing space is variable, depending on a great variety of interfering influences, but the record shows that on the journey to fulfill this mission my associate messenger proceeded at the rate of 841,621,642,000 of your miles per second of your time.

I did do some comparisons with distances and velocities and found
some interesting comparisons.

Seraphic speed is about 3 times the speed of light. So it would take about a third of a year to travel one light year at Seraphic speed. So if we divide some of the distances we know by 3 we can estimate how long it would take to get there by Seraphic transport.
Now a light year is 5,874,526,080,000 miles. So traveling at Seraphic speeds it would take about 122 days to travel that distance.

On P.359 - §8 it says, “From Jerusem, the headquarters of Satania, it is over two hundred thousand light-years to the physical center of the superuniverse of Orvonton,” and it continued to say, “Satania is on the periphery of the local universe, and Nebadon is now well out towards the edge of Orvonton. From the outermost system of inhabited worlds to the center of the superuniverse is a trifle less than two hundred and fifty thousand light-years.”
Now a Solitary Messenger travels at the rate of 841,621,642,000 of your miles per second. So it would take about 7 seconds to travel a light year (5,874,526,080,000 miles). So it would take about 500 hours for a Solitary Messenger to travel from the outermost system of inhabited worlds to the center of the superuniverse (two hundred and fifty thousand light-years ). A little over 20 days.
7(sec. Per light year) x 250,000 (light years) = 1,750,000 (seconds) / 3600 (sec. Per hour) = approx. 486 hours = approx. 20 days.

I’m going to keep looking for the distance from Jerusem to Urantia.

I found something I think is related to the question about how our souls get to the resurrection halls in three days, when I was looking for something else. So I'm back in our classroom.

I speculated:

And I suggested that perhaps our guardians are able to translate our spiritual (not physical) parts of our personality into an energy data stream that they could then transmit to Jeresum in a different energy form at a different energy speed. Once it got to The resurrections halls, I’m sure the T/A will already be waiting and it would just be a matter of reconstruction and encircuitization within the new morontial body.

Now I found this:

P.570 - §7 5. Mortals of the primary modified order of ascension. These mortals belong to the Adjuster-fused type of evolutionary life, but they are most often representative of the final phases of human development on an evolving world. These glorified beings are exempt from passing through the portals of death; they are submitted to Son seizure; they are translated from among the living and appear immediately in the presence of the Sovereign Son on the headquarters of the local universe.

P.570 - §8 These are the mortals who fuse with their Adjusters during mortal life, and such Adjuster-fused personalities traverse space freely before being clothed with morontia forms. These fused souls go by direct Adjuster transit to the resurrection halls of the higher morontia spheres, where they receive their initial morontia investiture just as do all other mortals arriving from the evolutionary worlds.

So where as I was speculating that our mind circuits entrusted to the guardian angels might be translated to a form for Solitary messenger speed. (24 times faster than Seraphic Transport speed) It appears that our mind circuits become fused with the TA and give us instantaneous presence speed. or Adjuster speed. It makes sense if we are true spirit. The transport seems to be necessary to enshroud material endowment. if there's nothing material left, we wouldn't need Seraphic Transportation. BUT once we get our morontia enshroudment we would need seraphic transports again for movement among the morontia worlds.

P.570 - §9 This primary modified order of mortal ascension may apply to individuals in any of the planetary series from the lowest to the highest stages of the Adjuster-fusion worlds, but it more frequently functions on the older of these spheres after they have received the benefits of numerous sojourns of the divine Sons.

P.570 - §10 With the establishment of the planetary era of light and life, many go to the universe morontia worlds by the primary modified order of translation. Further along in the advanced stages of settled existence, when the majority of the mortals leaving a realm are embraced in this class, the planet is regarded as belonging to this series. Natural death becomes decreasingly frequent on these spheres long settled in light and life.

P.623 - §2 This experience of translation from the material life to the morontia state--fusion of the immortal soul with the indwelling Adjuster--increases in frequency commensurate with the evolutionary progress of the planet. At first only a few mortals in each age attain translation levels of spiritual progress, but with the onset of the successive ages of the Teacher Sons, more and more Adjuster fusions occur before the termination of the lengthening lives of these progressing mortals; and by the time of the terminal mission of the Teacher Sons, approximately one quarter of these superb mortals are exempt from natural death.

P.623 - §3 Farther along in the era of light and life the midway creatures or their associates sense the approaching status of probable soul-Adjuster union and signify this to the destiny guardians, who in turn communicate these matters to the finaliter group under whose jurisdiction this mortal may be functioning; then there is issued the summons of the Planetary Sovereign for such a mortal to resign all planetary duties, bid farewell to the world of his origin, and repair to the inner temple of the Planetary Sovereign, there to await morontia transit, the translation flash, from the material domain of evolution to the morontia level of prespirit progression.

P.623 - §6 The souls of these progressing mortals are increasingly filled with faith, hope, and assurance. The spirit permeating those gathered around the translation shrine resembles that of the joyful friends and relatives who might assemble at a graduating exercise for one of their group, or who might come together to

If you believe it. But space distances and nomenclature (naming equivalencies - Urantia names to earth counterparts) still remain a big problem. I did find some more info on possible errors with in our space measurements. But I missed copying it down. So I'll have to search again.

Visible space is currently approx. 28.57 billion light years.in diameter.
TUB says there’s approx. 7 trillion inhabitable worlds in the Grand Universe.
If what we’re seeing today was diameter of all the Grand Universe then the Grand Universe diameter of 28571428571.4285714285714285714286 light years divided by 7,000,000,000,000 inhabitable worlds would leave approx. 0.00408163265306122448979591836734694 light years diameter thickness of space extending spherical around that particular increment of the Grand Universe diameter you were on for each inhabitable planet. If a light year is approx. 5,874,526,080,000 miles long (aprrox. 6 trillion miles long) that would make the increments roughly 23977657469.3877551020408163265306 miles thick. (approx. 24 billion miles thick.)

The problem with averages is they often don’t help much in representing reality.
The first increment being roughly 14.3 billion light years from the outer edge of the visible universe to Virgo in the center would inscribe a very small sphere of space. While the last increment at the extreme outer edge of the universe would spherically inscribe an enormous spherical shell encapsulating all of the current visible universe. So we can see the inner shell would be so small it may not include a single inhabitable world. While the last would be so large it could contain a billion inhabitable worlds.

So if we use the spherical volume in Cu. Light years of the visible universe and divided that by 7 trillion inhabitable worlds we may get a better perspective average space density needed per inhabitable world IF (and that’s a BIG IF) what we currently see is the grand Universe. (Which of coarse I doubt.) But it worth doing the math and contemplating representative models of what it might be like. When you think about star clusters and gigantic space voids you can easily see that some areas of space could contain sufficiently more inhabitable worlds while other areas would be remarkable devoid of inhabitable worlds.

So then a simple ideas like aiming attempts at giving and receiving communication to the nearest star or star cluster might cross our mind. And maybe we’re doing just exactly that with our CETI, Voyager and other programs attempting First Contact.

Different Ways Children Get Abused!!!

In this page I am going to talk about the different ways children are abused. It is a subject that touches areas of my heart and goes very deep into life experiences, not only for myself, but for so many others who have suffered under the hands of adults that they trusted. This is a very hurtful subject to so many, because in one way, or another they were abused. Some were abused sexually by uncles, stepfathers, stepmothers, grandparents, sisters, brothers and so forth. Some people have never talked about it, because it wasn't allowed, or just because they were too terrified to speak about it to anyone, because of this silence that is forced upon the victims, they become very emotionally disfunctional adults. The child is intimidated by the abuser, or groomed in ways that the child feels very much confused, embarassed and alone. The abuse might go on for years and the child gets more and more withdrawn. Hoping that she/he could tell some one so that the abuse might stop. As these children get older, the blame themselves for what happened to them, they feel that some how they brought this upon themselves, which is not true. If only they would have had some one to talk to, to help them end this horrible suffering, that robbed them of their childhood.

Another kind of abuse is Physical Abuse:

Each year so many children die, because a parent could not control his or her anger and took it out on their child. Some parents say that they can not control themselves, because they were beaten as children themselves, but how can they cause others the pain that they went through. You think that because they know how it feels they wouldn't want to put their children through the same pain. I just don't understand. I came from an abusive family environment, and I promised myself that I would never put my children through what I had gone through and I kept my promise. I wanted a better life for my children, a life free from abusive behavior.

The Important Value of Women as demonstrated by Jesus.

The value, importance and worth of Women as demonstrated by Jesus.
We must look at Scripture critically trying to get the deepest understanding we can of God’s word. The historical conditions at the time. The attitudes of the cultures toward women, and the momentous actions taken by Jesus in his just treatment and interaction with women in the face of these cultural taboos. It is no small thing to take all these things into account when we consider the meaning and purpose of Jesus’ actions and teachings in regards to how they take place with the women who were the objects or recipients of these actions and teachings.

Mark and Matthew write these next two passages of the same occurrence. Remember according to the Catholic historical analysis of the writings in the NT in the NAB, Mark wrote his Gospel first then Matthew and Luke most likely with a copy of Mark’s gospel for reference amplified his writings with their accounts and perspectives of what took place in the Life of Jesus.

Mt 15:21-28

21 Then Jesus went from that place and withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
22 And behold, a Canaanite woman of that district came and called out, "Have pity on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is tormented by a demon."
23 But he did not say a word in answer to her. His disciples came and asked him, "Send her away, for she keeps calling out after us."
24 He said in reply, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
25 But the woman came and did him homage, saying, "Lord, help me."
26 He said in reply, "It is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs."
27 She said, "Please, Lord, for even the dogs eat the scraps that fall from the table of their masters."
28 Then Jesus said to her in reply, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish." And her daughter was healed from that hour.

Mk7:24-30

24 From that place he went off to the district of Tyre. He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it, but he could not escape notice.
25 Soon a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him. She came and fell at his feet.
26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth, and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
27 He said to her, "Let the children be fed first. For it is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs."
28 She replied and said to him, "Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children's scraps."
29 Then he said to her, "For saying this, you may go. The demon has gone out of your daughter."
30 When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed and the demon gone.
In terms of the discussion of this thread, there are several important aspects as in regard to the treatment of women in that time. Notice how Mark is pretty straight forward. He doesn’t dress his account up a lot with an expression of his attitude. He just “tells it like it is”, so to speak. Matthew on the other hand, demonstrates a strong Jewish upbringing and attitude towards women, in verses 23-24. BUT that serves as an excellent contrast to Jesus’ grace and just consideration of women, his attitude towards women flys in the face of Jewish tradition, in the fact that He responds to this women with respect and grants her petition because of her intelligent sincere and faithful response.

So what is God’s message to us in this interaction? Women are deserving of just consideration and their intelligent and sincere responses to life’s situations deserve recognition.

It’s such an important lesson! In light of the mistreatment, repression and under appreciation of women’s input into solving the problems of the world, it’s MORE OF A MIRICLE that we have “ears that hear” and “eyes that see”, this important lesson Jesus left us on the VALUE of woman’s “genius”, as Pope John Paul II referred to it, than the actual healing of the woman’s daughter. That healing did exemplify the importance of listening to women!

These next excerpts are from Mt. and Lk on the same occurrence. We spoke a little of Matthew and Mark here’s a brief excerpt from the Vatican site on LUKE. http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0839/__PWJ.HTM

Throughout the gospel, Luke calls upon the Christian disciple to identify with the master Jesus, who is caring and tender toward the poor and lowly, the outcast, the sinner, and the afflicted, toward all those who recognize their dependence on God, but who is severe toward the proud and self-righteous, and particularly toward those who place their material wealth before the service of God and his people No gospel writer is more concerned than Luke with the mercy and compassion of Jesus. No gospel writer is more concerned with the role of the Spirit in the life of Jesus and the Christian disciple, with the importance of, or with Jesus' concern for women.

Because of these attributes of Luke, he might be said to be the Progressive or Liberal of his time. I would say of the NT writers he was the one that was most in touch with his feminine side. And it shows in the richness and content of his writing.

Mt 26:6-13

6 Now when Jesus was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper,
7 a woman came up to him with an alabaster jar of costly perfumed oil, and poured it on his head while he was reclining at table.
8 When the disciples saw this, they were indignant and said, "Why this waste?
9 It could have been sold for much, and the money given to the poor."
10 Since Jesus knew this, he said to them, "Why do you make trouble for the woman? She has done a good thing for me.
11 The poor you will always have with you; but you will not always have me.
12 In pouring this perfumed oil upon my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.
13 Amen, I say to you, wherever this gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will be spoken of, in memory of her."

Lk7:36-50

36 A Pharisee invited him to dine with him, and he entered the Pharisee's house and reclined at table.
37 Now there was a sinful woman in the city who learned that he was at table in the house of the Pharisee. Bringing an alabaster flask of ointment,
38 she stood behind him at his feet weeping and began to bathe his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and anointed them with the ointment.
39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, that she is a sinner."
40 Jesus said to him in reply, "Simon, I have something to say to you." "Tell me, teacher," he said.
41 "Two people were in debt to a certain creditor; one owed five hundred days' wages and the other owed fifty.
42 Since they were unable to repay the debt, he forgave it for both. Which of them will love him more?"
43 Simon said in reply, "The one, I suppose, whose larger debt was forgiven." He said to him, "You have judged rightly."
44 Then he turned to the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? When I entered your house, you did not give me water for my feet, but she has bathed them with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
45 You did not give me a kiss, but she has not ceased kissing my feet since the time I entered.
46 You did not anoint my head with oil, but she anointed my feet with ointment.
47 So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; hence, she has shown great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little."
48 He said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
49 The others at table said to themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?"
50 But he said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."

Do you see how rich Luke’s version is compared to Matthews? Matthew being the devote Jew that he was may have had reservations about displaying a Master who would resort to lowering himself to the level of conversing, admiring and defending such a woman as this. He may have been embarrassed by the fact that Simon, a Pharisee (A Jewish person in a position of respect) was reprimanded as he was by Jesus. So Matthew portrayed him as a Leper. While Luke not being Jewish had no such reservations I believe gave a much more honest and detailed account of the incident.

Again the importance of Jesus’ actions while quite embarrassing to his Apostles are very important to us today in terms of respect of woman. Jesus so often taught that God was no respecter of weather a person was a man or a woman. And because of their cultural upbringing this must have been a very difficult thing for the Apostles to accept. As a matter of fact evidence indicates that they reverted back to their customs soon after Jesus’’ ascended into heaven.

Now this next short excerpt I find so very important. And it is significant in that as far as I know it only appears in Luke. It’s important because it’s the only indication of a possible scenario of a women’s type of Apostolic group like that indicated in the story I shared with my sister. Several things in the story are supported here by biblical text. I would be curious to see if in the formation of the current bible at the Council of Nicea similar texts where destroyed or discarded.

Lk8:1-3 very important

1 Afterward he journeyed from one town and village to another, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. Accompanying him were the Twelve
2 and some women who had been cured of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
3 Joanna, the wife of Herod's steward Chuza, Susanna, and many others who provided for them out of their resources.
So we see as Jesus traveled with the apostles from town to town preaching and proclaiming the good news of God. THE WOMEN WERE WITH THEM possibly DOING THE SAME THING.. And you see three of the 12 women mentioned in the story here as well as MANY OTHERS (WOMEN) and you see as it said in the story that THEY SUPPORTED THEMSELVES.
This small obscure seldom referred to part of the bible that is perhaps the BIGGEST OUTRIGHT INDICATOR of a WOMEN’S CORP THAT traveled and WORKED WITH JESUS furthering the kingdom of heaven in the world.
And that’s not counting what the male dominated hierarchy of the Church left out!

25 There was a woman afflicted with hemorrhages for twelve years.
26 She had suffered greatly at the hands of many doctors and had spent all that she had. Yet she was not helped but only grew worse.

28 She said, "If I but touch his clothes, I shall be cured."
29 Immediately her flow of blood dried up. She felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction.
30 Jesus, aware at once that power had gone out from him, turned around in the crowd and asked, "Who has touched my clothes?"
31 But his disciples said to him, "You see how the crowd is pressing upon you, and yet you ask, 'Who touched me?'"
32 And he looked around to see who had done it.
33 The woman, realizing what had happened to her, approached in fear and trembling. She fell down before Jesus and told him the whole truth.
34 He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has saved you. Go in peace and be cured of your affliction."

Lk8:41-56

41 And a man named Jairus, an official of the synagogue, came forward. He fell at the feet of Jesus and begged him to come to his house,
42 because he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. As he went, the crowds almost crushed him.
43 And a woman afflicted with hemorrhages for twelve years, who (had spent her whole livelihood on doctors and) was unable to be cured by anyone,
44 came up behind him and touched the tassel on his cloak. Immediately her bleeding stopped.
45 Jesus then asked, "Who touched me?" While all were denying it, Peter said, "Master, the crowds are pushing and pressing in upon you."
46 But Jesus said, "Someone has touched me; for I know that power has gone out from me."
47 When the woman realized that she had not escaped notice, she came forward trembling. Falling down before him, she explained in the presence of all the people why she had touched him and how she had been healed immediately.
48 He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace."
49 While he was still speaking, someone from the synagogue official's house arrived and said, "Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the teacher any longer."
50 On hearing this, Jesus answered him, "Do not be afraid; just have faith and she will be saved."
51 When he arrived at the house he allowed no one to enter with him except Peter and John and James, and the child's father and mother.
52 All were weeping and mourning for her, when he said, "Do not weep any longer, for she is not dead, but sleeping."
53 And they ridiculed him, because they knew that she was dead.
54 But he took her by the hand and called to her, "Child, arise!"
55 Her breath returned and she immediately arose. He then directed that she should be given something to eat.
56 Her parents were astounded, and he instructed them to tell no one what had happened.

I like the complimenting honesty and detail that Mark and Luke provide on this woman of great faith. One thing that the church has failed to emphasize that DIDN”T escape the notice of Jesus was the tremendous FAITH the women followers have in Jesus. I think there is a great Charism in a woman’s faith that we as men cannot grasp. And it is something very powerful and very healing. And I believe this feminine aspect of God that women possess will be pivotal in healing the world of it’s terrible ills in the near future as women define, determine and contribute their gift to the world. As Pope John Paul II anticipated his letter:

“The present reflections, now at an end, have sought to recognize, within the "gift of God", what he, as Creator and Redeemer, entrusts to women, to every woman. In the Spirit of Christ, in fact, women can discover the entire meaning of their femininity and thus be disposed to making a "sincere gift of self" to others, thereby finding themselves.”

O.K. I’m running out of time. Let me do one more. This one many of us are familiar with.
Lk10:38-42

38 As they continued their journey he entered a village where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him.
39 She had a sister named Mary (who) sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak.
40 Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving? Tell her to help me."
41 The Lord said to her in reply, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things.
42 There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her."

Can you see how Christ emphasizes the importance of women’s self-determination…even among themselves?
Martha gets caught up in the male dominated definition of a woman’s role, like so many women of today do, and she’s upset because her sister Mary isn’t helping her in the kitchen and leaving all the work of waiting on people to Martha. Mary’s right up front next to Jesus knowing his Love (God type love) for her and with a sincere desire to hear his teaching. Jesus gently gives Martha and all of us today a little chiding because of our failure to value our spiritual advancement more than our work ethic. And to women to be tolerant of those women whose calling from God is to do more than is currently acceptable by the male dominated hierarchy of the Church.

I mean Gosh, it’s real clear to me, and I’m sure many others here of the Lucan persuasion, but can any of our traditional conservatives see it?

There’s much more in the NT that I believe validates today’s need of feminine expression and women’s efforts to take a more prominent role in the World and the Church. I’ll get to that in another post…God Willing. :-)

Part II “The value, importance and worth of Women as demonstrated by Jesus.”

Following this theme, within the context of this thread I have a some more biblical texts that demonstrate Jesus’ expressed value on the importance of women and the feminine contribution to the Church.

Lk13:11-21-
11 And a woman was there who for eighteen years had been crippled by a spirit; she was bent over, completely incapable of standing erect.
12 When Jesus saw her, he called to her and said, "Woman, you are set free of your infirmity."
13 He laid his hands on her, and she at once stood up straight and glorified God.
14 But the leader of the synagogue, indignant that Jesus had cured on the sabbath, said to the crowd in reply, "There are six days when work should be done. Come on those days to be cured, not on the sabbath day."
15 The Lord said to him in reply, "Hypocrites! Does not each one of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his ass from the manger and lead it out for watering?
16 This daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound for eighteen years now, ought she not to have been set free on the sabbath day from this bondage?"
17 When he said this, all his adversaries were humiliated; and the whole crowd rejoiced at all the splendid deeds done by him.
18 Then he said, "What is the kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it?
19 It is like a mustard seed that a person took and planted in the garden. When it was fully grown, it became a large bush and 'the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.'"
20 Again he said, "To what shall I compare the kingdom of God?
21 It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed (in) with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch of dough was leavened."

Now in this excerpt from Luke there are several important aspects in regards to the importance the role that women will play in the establishment of the Kingdom of God on Earth in the hearts of Humankind. Again we have a woman’s Faith. Jesus moved by this ailing woman’s’ faith in him cures her of her aliment. But he also uses this action to cure MEN of their Hypocrisy. He faces then with the reality of their litheness. Surely they would save their ox or ass BUT would let this woman suffer unto death! NOT LIFTING A HAND TO HELP HER. And in this example using Crystallized DOGMA, DOCTRINE and TRADITION as their excuse.

There is no excuse for their callous behavior toward the ailing condition of this woman or toward women in general. Jesus reminds these sallow minded MEN, SHE IS A DUAGHTER OF ABRAHAM. He uses Abraham because he is so revered by these men as Father of the chosen people of GOD. What Jesus could’ve told them but it wouldn’t have done any good due to the conditions and perceptions of MEN at the time., was that this woman IS A DAUGHTER OF GOD. How can we today be so shallow as to treat women as anything BUT THAT?

Though they are humiliated by the smallness of their words and actions. Jesus continues to demonstrate the VALUE of Women to them by comparing the establishment of the KINGDOM OF GOD with a WOMEN’S WORK. The yeast in His example is WOMEN’S FAITH and the three measures of wheat is HUMANITY and by the addition of WOMEN’S FAITH through WOMEN’S WORK, all of Humanity will be ELEVATED to the level of KINGDOM of GOD.

And what we as men have promoted is the example of the mustered seed as faith totally over looking the example of women putting faith into action that Jesus gave us. Well boys it’s been two thousand years! It’s time to bite the bullet and give women their just due. Just as Jesus taught us. Bless their Faith and Bless their Work and lets join together in respect of their self-professed, self determined and willing acceptance of their God Willed position in the healing of the world.

So to continue you all remember this next story in the NT right? These same men trying to trip Jesus up. Again using the “OLD LAW” and an example of a woman trying to trip him up to condemn him. But his words of truth foil their weak attempts again.

Lk 20:33-40
33 Now at the resurrection whose wife will that woman be? For all seven had been married to her."
34 Jesus said to them, "The children of this age marry and remarry;
35 but those who are deemed worthy to attain to the coming age and to the resurrection of the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage.
36 They can no longer die, for they are like angels; and they are the children of God because they are the ones who will rise.
37 That the dead will rise even Moses made known in the passage about the bush, when he called 'Lord' the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob;
38 and he is not God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive."
39 Some of the scribes said in reply, "Teacher, you have answered well."
40 And they no longer dared to ask him anything.

Notice how Jesus teaches them that MARRIAGE is of this world BUT has nothing to do in the next.. Those “(spiritually) worthy” of the NEXT world will be resurrected there all as children of GOD WITHOUT REGARD OF GENDER. Why can’t the church see the truth imparted in this lesson of Jesus, in regards to PRIESTS, MARRIAGE AND WOMAN? It doesn’t matter if they are married, it doesn’t matter if they’re men or women, IT MATTERS IF THEY ARE “(SPIRITUALLY WORTHY”! Jesus said, “for they are like angels; and they are the children of God… and he is not God of the dead, but of the living, for TO HIM (GOD) ALL ARE ALIVE.”

Sorry I didn’t me to SHOUT. I just get so emotional when I think that people might not be able to see or worse yet ACCEPT these truths as Jesus taught them.

This next one by John raises a question in my mind. Will women impose upon God to bring peace to the world? In this story Mary imposes upon Jesus to help with the problem of there being no wine, to perform his first miracle. Jesus demonstrates this imposition upon him of his Mother when he says, "Woman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come." So often we’ve been taught by Jesus that Our Father is moved to action by prayer. Now he demonstrates this in living action when petitioned by A WOMAN to begin Hid Public Career of Service and Teaching of the Father. Is it really prudent to ignore this fact of the POWER OF WOMEN to influence God with their FEMININE FAITH and WILLINGNESS to petition
for HELP.

Jn 2:1-11
1 On the third day there was a wedding in Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
2 Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding.
3 When the wine ran short, the mother of Jesus said to him, "They have no wine."
4 (And) Jesus said to her, "Woman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come."
5 His mother said to the servers, "Do whatever he tells you."
6 Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washings, each holding twenty to thirty gallons.
7 Jesus told them, "Fill the jars with water." So they filled them to the brim.
8 Then he told them, "Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter." So they took it.
9 And when the headwaiter tasted the water that had become wine, without knowing where it came from (although the servers who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter called the bridegroom
10 and said to him, "Everyone serves good wine first, and then when people have drunk freely, an inferior one; but you have kept the good wine until now."
11 Jesus did this as the beginning of his signs in Cana in Galilee and so revealed his glory, and his disciples began to believe in him.

This one I believe is perhaps one of the most recognized teachings of Jesus about the value, importance and worth of Women. Just so so many lessons in the story.

Here’s a few of Jesus’ lessons I can see.
1. She is Samaritan – God is not concerned with your nationality or religious creed
2. She a women – No respecter of gender.
3. Salvation is offered to ALL – the water of eternal life.
4. The offer of eternal life is for sinners – (her 5 husbands)
5. True Worship is not held in a place or with a specific religion – it is done “in Sprit and Truth” And God’s wants us to worship God like that.
6. Jesus will teach us the truth and the way.
7. And perhaps this is the most important thing about the story in terms of this thread, THE WOMEN brought her people to Jesus and the WATER OF ETERNAL LIFE. It should be significant to us that JESUS choose a WOMAN of an alien nationality, alien religion, questionable character, no special position, BUT with curiosity and a desire to receive and know the truth to bring this message of GOD to her people.

Jn 4:7-42
7 A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink."
8 His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.
9 The Samaritan woman said to him, "How can you, a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink?" (For Jews use nothing in common with Samaritans.)
10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God and who is saying to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked him and he would have given you living water."
11 (The woman) said to him, "Sir, you do not even have a bucket and the cistern is deep; where then can you get this living water?
12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us this cistern and drank from it himself with his children and his flocks?"
13 Jesus answered and said to her, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again;
14 but whoever drinks the water I shall give will never thirst; the water I shall give will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
15 The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water, so that I may not be thirsty or have to keep coming here to draw water."
16 Jesus said to her, "Go call your husband and come back."
17 The woman answered and said to him, "I do not have a husband." Jesus answered her, "You are right in saying, 'I do not have a husband.'
18 For you have had five husbands, and the one you have now is not your husband. What you have said is true."
19 The woman said to him, "Sir, I can see that you are a prophet.
20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain; but you people say that the place to worship is in Jerusalem."
21 Jesus said to her, "Believe me, woman, the hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
22 You people worship what you do not understand; we worship what we understand, because salvation is from the Jews.
23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth; and indeed the Father seeks such people to worship him.
24 God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth."
25 The woman said to him, "I know that the Messiah is coming, the one called the Anointed; when he comes, he will tell us everything."
26 Jesus said to her, "I am he, the one who is speaking with you."
27 At that moment his disciples returned, and were amazed that he was talking with a woman, but still no one said, "What are you looking for?" or "Why are you talking with her?"
28 The woman left her water jar and went into the town and said to the people,
29 "Come see a man who told me everything I have done. Could he possibly be the Messiah?"
30 They went out of the town and came to him.
31 Meanwhile, the disciples urged him, "Rabbi, eat."
32 But he said to them, "I have food to eat of which you do not know."
33
So the disciples said to one another, "Could someone have brought him something to eat?"
34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to finish his work.
35 Do you not say, 'In four months the harvest will be here'? I tell you, look up and see the fields ripe for the harvest.
36 The reaper is already receiving his payment and gathering crops for eternal life, so that the sower and reaper can rejoice together.
37 For here the saying is verified that 'One sows and another reaps.'
38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for; others have done the work, and you are sharing the fruits of their work."
39 Many of the Samaritans of that town began to believe in him because of the word of the woman who testified, "He told me everything I have done."
40 When the Samaritans came to him, they invited him to stay with them; and he stayed there two days.
41 Many more began to believe in him because of his word,
42 and they said to the woman, "We no longer believe because of your word; for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is truly the savior of the world."

Well here we go again in this next familiar story. You (the men of that time) want to trap Jesus in that day and time. You know he treats women with a respect and consideration that wasn’t appropriate for that time. You want something serious to ensnare him with. Let’s stone a woman. The crowds ought to really go for that. So here she comes setup and caught in adultery, what about the MAN who was involved. OH Yeah that was two thousands year ago or is it also today in many countries in the world? So Jesus faces the guys and embarrasses them into dropping their stones and leaving. And then talks to the woman in a healing and non-condemning non-judgmental way. HE TEACHES US THE JUST CONSIDERATION WOMEN DEASERVE. And we men and some women are still having a hard time getting that.

Jn 8:3-11
3 Then the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery and made her stand in the middle.
4 They said to him, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery.
5 Now in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?"
6 They said this to test him, so that they could have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and began to write on the ground with his finger.
7 But when they continued asking him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her."
8 Again he bent down and wrote on the ground.
9 And in response, they went away one by one, beginning with the elders. So he was left alone with the woman before him.
10 Then Jesus straightened up and said to her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
11 She replied, "No one, sir." Then Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go, (and) from now on do not sin any more."

God Bless ALL the women of the world. Jesus uses women again to as an allegory to demonstrate the pain and agony we must experience before the joy of seeing God makes us forget that pain. What a blessing for women to recognized so much by Jesus while they are so taken for granted by so many in the world. What a shame. Perhaps we can become more supportive of the awesomeness of their being in faith and action.

Jn 16:21-23
21 When a woman is in labor, she is in anguish because her hour has arrived; but when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the pain because of her joy that a child has been born into the world.
22 So you also are now in anguish. But I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
23 On that day you will not question me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.

Next. Woman loved Jesus as Jesus loved them. In His time of Crisis and need the women were there for him. His Best Bud John showed up and he impressed on John the importance of women as in Motherhood. How often do we forget to honor God the Mother as represented in God’s creation of the women in our lives and in our world? Jesus didn’t only leave this message for John and Mary, it was for us also. When woman leaders as mothers of the world tell us men leaders to put down our toys (weapons of war and war itself) and make peace with one another, Will we respect them as our Mother, drop our guns and shake hands and make up?

Jn 19:25-27
25 Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala.
26 When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, "Woman, behold, your son."
27 Then he said to the disciple, "Behold, your mother." And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.

Why did Jesus appear to women before men? Again to signify to us today their importance, value and worth in our lives and our world today. God Bless women for their love and compassion. May we are share in this gift.

Jn 20:11-18
11 But Mary stayed outside the tomb weeping. And as she wept, she bent over into the tomb
12 and saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet where the body of Jesus had been.
13 And they said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "They have taken my Lord, and I don't know where they laid him."
14 When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus there, but did not know it was Jesus.
15 Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?" She thought it was the gardener and said to him, "Sir, if you carried him away, tell me where you laid him, and I will take him."
16 Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to him in Hebrew, "Rabbouni," which means Teacher.
17
Jesus said to her, "Stop holding on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, 'I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
18 Mary of Magdala went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord," and what he told her.

Why is the Church referred to in the Feminine in This next revelation? To signify the importance of the Feminine in the "Eyes of God". And the value of the "Feminine" to those of us on Earth. Men listen to Women with "New Ears" and "See Women with New Eyes". “I will make all things New”.

Rev 19:7-8
7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory. For the wedding day of the Lamb has come, his bride has made herself ready.
8 She was allowed to wear a bright, clean linen garment." (The linen represents the righteous deeds of the holy ones.)

The more we discover how much we are Loved by God, the more we want to do God's Will

"Where Did The Urantia Book Come From?"

"In the early 20th century, a physician practicing in Chicago became the head of a group known as the Contact Commission.

This small group was the focal point for the production of, and the primary custodian for, the final text of The Urantia Book.

They were sworn not to disclose details about the transactions in order to preclude
future generations from venerating the participants.

It was considered important that no individual might be exalted through their association with The Urantia Book.

Because of its revelatory nature, the book must stand on its own merit.

As the contents of book were being transcribed, the papers were read to, and questions were requested from
"The Forum," a group that had been meeting regularly for discussions at the doctor's house.

The answers to these questions were then incorporated into the papers.

Religious Peace

Religious peace - brotherhood - can never exist unless all religions are willing to completely divest themselves of all ecclesiastical authority and fully surrender all concept of spiritual sovereignty. God alone is spirit sovereign.

As we advance into the 21 century AD. The Spirit of God is developing in the minds and beings of humankind. The Spirit of God is a Spirit of Life. It is a “living” Spirit that lives within us. With it God gives us the “free gift” of eternal life. And to accompany it is our Sovereign choice of Free Will. It is left to us to choose to recognize this Spirit of God within us, open our hearts to hear and receive this Spirit, and say Yes to the pro offer of Eternal Life. Awakening to the “living” Spirit within us our faith becomes a “living faith” our personal relationship with God and our fellow human being a “living relationship of Spirit”.

Awaken all of you who are of a mind to experience this “living faith” to live the Living Faith, to be this Living Faith. To you and All who have already awakened to this living Spirit with in us, May God’s Peace and Love be with you and us all.

And as it is written here as the Spirit comes alive and grows in you so will it be written in your hearts according to His Will and Your relationship with the The Infinite and All Loving Father.

155:6.1 And so, while they paused in the shade of the hillside, Jesus continued to teach them regarding the religion of the spirit, in substance saying:

155:6.2 You have come out from among those of your fellows who choose to remain satisfied with a religion of mind, who crave security and prefer conformity. You have elected to exchange your feelings of authoritative certainty for the assurances of the spirit of adventurous and progressive faith. You have dared to protest against the grueling bondage of institutional religion and to reject the authority of the traditions of record which are now regarded as the word of God. Our Father did indeed speak through Moses, Elijah, Isaiah, Amos, and Hosea, but he did not cease to minister words of truth to the world when these prophets of old made an end of their utterances. My Father is no respecter of races or generations in that the word of truth is vouchsafed one age and withheld from another. Commit not the folly of calling that divine which is wholly human, and fail not to discern the words of truth which come not through the traditional oracles of supposed inspiration.

155:6.3 I have called upon you to be born again, to be born of the spirit. I have called you out of the darkness of authority and the lethargy of tradition into the transcendent light of the realization of the possibility of making for yourselves the greatest discovery possible for the human soul to make—the supernal experience of finding God for yourself, in yourself, and of yourself, and of doing all this as a fact in your own personal experience. And so may you pass from death to life, from the authority of tradition to the experience of knowing God; thus will you pass from darkness to light, from a racial faith inherited to a personal faith achieved by actual experience; and thereby will you progress from a theology of mind handed down by your ancestors to a true religion of spirit which shall be built up in your souls as an eternal endowment.

155:6.4 Your religion shall change from the mere intellectual belief in traditional authority to the actual experience of that living faith which is able to grasp the reality of God and all that relates to the divine spirit of the Father. The religion of the mind ties you hopelessly to the past; the religion of the spirit consists in progressive revelation and ever beckons you on toward higher and holier achievements in spiritual ideals and eternal realities.

155:6.5 While the religion of authority may impart a present feeling of settled security, you pay for such a transient satisfaction the price of the loss of your spiritual freedom and religious liberty. My Father does not require of you as the price of entering the kingdom of heaven that you should force yourself to subscribe to a belief in things which are spiritually repugnant, unholy, and untruthful. It is not required of you that your own sense of mercy, justice, and truth should be outraged by submission to an outworn system of religious forms and ceremonies. The religion of the spirit leaves you forever free to follow the truth wherever the leadings of the spirit may take you. And who can judge—perhaps this spirit may have something to impart to this generation which other generations have refused to hear?

155:6.6 Shame on those false religious teachers who would drag hungry souls back into the dim and distant past and there leave them! And so are these unfortunate persons doomed to become frightened by every new discovery, while they are discomfited by every new revelation of truth. The prophet who said, " He will be kept in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on God, " was not a mere intellectual believer in authoritative theology. This truth-knowing human had discovered God; he was not merely talking about God.

155:6.7 I admonish you to give up the practice of always quoting the prophets of old and praising the heroes of Israel, and instead aspire to become living prophets of the Most High and spiritual heroes of the coming kingdom. To honor the God-knowing leaders of the past may indeed be worth while, but why, in so doing, should you sacrifice the supreme experience of human existence: finding God for yourselves and knowing him in your own souls?

155:6.8 Every race of mankind has its own mental outlook upon human existence; therefore must the religion of the mind ever run true to these various racial viewpoints. Never can the religions of authority come to unification. Human unity and mortal brotherhood can be achieved only by and through the superendowment of the religion of the spirit. Racial minds may differ, but all mankind is indwelt by the same divine and eternal spirit. The hope of human brotherhood can only be realized when, and as, the divergent mind religions of authority become impregnated with, and overshadowed by, the unifying and ennobling religion of the spirit—the religion of personal spiritual experience.

155:6.9 The religions of authority can only divide men and set them in conscientious array against each other; the religion of the spirit will progressively draw men together and cause them to become understandingly sympathetic with one another. The religions of authority require of men uniformity in belief, but this is impossible of realization in the present state of the world. The religion of the spirit requires only unity of experience—uniformity of destiny—making full allowance for diversity of belief. The religion of the spirit requires only uniformity of insight, not uniformity of viewpoint and outlook. The religion of the spirit does not demand uniformity of intellectual views, only unity of spirit feeling. The religions of authority crystallize into lifeless creeds; the religion of the spirit grows into the increasing joy and liberty of ennobling deeds of loving service and merciful ministration.

Talking About Dogs and Heaven

HOW MANY ORBES DO YOU SEE IN THESE PHOTO??

I took these pictures on January 2,2009 of my own dogs in my living room . I had no idea that I would get any kind of orbs

especially not the amount of them that I got in the first picture. I did take a number of pictures with the same camera after I saw the orbs in these pictures to see if it were my camera,,,,I did not clean the lense or do anything different in the room the picture was taken in except for removing the Shephard; There were no more orbs of any kind in any of the other pictures that I took just 15 minutes later. The picture above is an example of the same day , room but without the Shephard,,,,look at the date stamp on the photo.....I am very curious about this kind of thing ....please feel free to post any insight you may have on the subject.

Now because it seems that these orbes are concentrating on my Shephard it brings up the question? Are these entities or ghosts or energys attracted to my dog because of his aura?? Or maybe his soul (if you believe that dogs have a soul) or is there a ghost in my house that just simply likes my dog?

The next question to ponder on is whether dogs or cats maybe horses have a soul and get to some kind of higher place after they die?! I have heated debates about this subject with my husband and alot of my friends. I believe that they must get to go to some kind of so called "Doggy Heaven"
There are so many of us that mourn our pets when they die, we bury them and give them headstones, we keep things to remember them by.....".I had to put my mini doxie of 12 years to sleep this year and I kept her collar hanging on the rearview mirror of my truck." I still come home from work at night and I catch myself looking for her. Why in the world would God give us the opportunity to love something so much, to give us so much good , they put up with our human ways and just keep giving us love and protection and companionship and it dosnt matter what we do to them they are always there for us. Without giving them some kind of reward in the end. I will always believe that all the dogs that have been so committed to us will be with us in heaven.

NO SOUL? SO WHAT?

In the book, “Will I See Him Again (A Look at Pets in Heaven),” so many different things are looked at. Of course, one of those things centers around the notion of whether or not animals, including our beloved pets, have souls or spirits and just how it affects what we believe about their living again. There are several scriptural reasons to believe that they do have souls and much consideration is given in the book to support it. Not only are their souls looked at but we also find that their earthly bodies will be raised to live again, too! When this earth comes to an end, not only the bodies of all human beings will be resurrected, but those of the animals, as well. These very same bodies (no matter what has happened to them) will then be reunited with their "souls" and will then live in God's kingdom forever on the brand New Earth. So, animals really do have souls or, better yet (and as human beings are also described) they “are” “living souls.” Many other aspects of this “soul” question are looked in the book as well, such as whether their souls are eternal or not; or where they actually go when they leave their bodies, etc. But there is one other point that needs to be seriously considered and that is whether or not it even matters if they have souls or not! This is a thought that, apparently, many others seem to overlook and it’s baffling as to why that is. Why should it matter to us if they have souls or not? Especially when we know that we are dealing with a God with whom nothing is impossible anyway! Why should it matter to Him? He’s the one who created their souls to start out with. And if they have no soul, then He’s the one who caused them to live with no soul! So what’s the big deal? If they were created out of nothing to live without a soul before, then why is it so hard to believe that the same God can cause them to live without one again? If they lived without a soul, then that’s the proof that they CAN live without one! And if they can live without one, then we have hope that we will see them again—even if they didn’t have one! The following "Copyrighted Material" is adapted from “Will I See Him Again? (A Look at Pets in Heaven).” It is taken from the section “No Soul? So What?” in Ch. 2, which is entitled “On The Mystery Of Their Souls.” No Soul? So What? But if you’re one of those who happen to believe that animals have no souls at all, then my question for you is, “So What?” It’s a moot point, anyway. It really doesn’t matter. Why should we continue to live in fear of never seeing our pets again, merely because there are those who deny they have souls to begin with? So, who are they? Can’t you see it really doesn’t matter in the least? Let’s say, for a moment, it’s true that they have no souls. So what? What does that mean? Well, it means they’ve come into existence and lived only as a physical entity without a soul, somehow, and then for whatever reason they just stopped living. And if it is true, then it means God created them to live and to love without a “soul.” OK. So what? If that’s the case then we know they’ve already lived once without a soul! So, it’s possible after all! Why, then, would this be a reason why we’d never see them again? It doesn’t make a lot of sense, if you ask me. Just how does not having a soul prevent Him from raising the very same bodies from the dust and re-enlivening them in the same way once again? If He were able to make the soul-less bodies live once before (even with personality, etc.), then why would He be unable to make the same soul-less body live once again? And with the same personality? Is He not able to re-create the very same situation if He wanted to? If being a soul-less creature is all they were, then that’s what they were. So what? We loved them anyway, didn’t we? If that’s all Butchie was, I’d surely take him back the same way! I’m not as stupid as I look! The only thing God really needs to do is breathe life back into those remains, as He already did at the first, and--guess what? You got it! They’d be alive! Just like before. If that’s what they were before, then that’s what they’ll be again. I happen to believe, however, they’ll actually be a whole lot more than they were. After all, we will be. Even though nothing is too hard for Him [“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?” (Jer. 32:27], one could make the case that it would actually be “easier” for Him to bring them back to life if they had no soul than if they had! After all, He wouldn’t have to “worry” about which soul goes to which body and all that! All He would have to do is just say the word, as before. “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind” (Gen 1:24). That’s all the “Lord, the God of all flesh” had to do before “and it was so.” Until He said that, there were no living creatures in existence anywhere. However, the basic physical elements they were made from were already there and then (by His “word”) they were brought forth from them. And the same would be true in the New Earth, too. They would simply be brought forth from the elements that are already there, having existed before they died and returned to dust or ashes. I’m just flabbergasted and unable to understand how anyone can be so intimidated by such a notion as, “We will never see them again because they have no soul (or spirit).” Oooh! Scary! We’ve all been sold a bag of fear. I can’t believe I almost fell for that stuff, too. Don’t we realize whom we’re dealing with here? Have we forgotten the Almighty? What do we think “Almighty” is, anyway? Nothing is too hard for Him. So let’s turn away from such nonsense and put our trust in Him. Having said this, however, I will grant you one thing; and it’s something that will be covered in “No Pets Allowed?” [a future sequel]. It actually is possible that not “all” the animals, or animal life forms such as invertebrates, in existence “have souls.” There is reason to believe, from the Scriptures, that some may and some may not be “living souls.” The animal kingdom is certainly made of upper and lower “classes” (if you will), and much of this is even seen in their ability (or lack of) to relate to man. The “higher” forms of animal consciousness are referred to in the Bible in such a way that the lower ones are not. The higher forms are those who are domesticable (I know that’s not a word) and were made by God to be closer to man than were those who are “in the wild,” so to speak. These “closer” ones are not limited to pets, though. Nonetheless, none of this precludes God from being able to raise any of them from the dead and bring them back to life in the New Earth. This includes all, or as many as He would desire, whether they’re from higher or lower classes, or whether they have souls or not. So my humble advice to you is that you not be dissuaded from the truth. Not the truth as to whether they have souls or not, but rather as to whether it even matters or not. Keep your eyes upon Him, for nothing is too hard for Him and He’s already proven it once.

Did God give us Dogs as "BEST FRIENDS?"

I have three dogs and I truly believe that God gave us these loyal friends as Best Friends. Who or what else, besides God can love you unconditionally? I have seen people beat their dogs until they bleed and the poor animal still coming crawling to his master. I have known of dogs who were abandoned by their owners and the dogs traveled miles and miles to find them. I don't understand how people can be so cruel to such loyal and devoted animals. I personally feel that they are creatures sent by God to protect and love us. They don't care if we are ugly, fat, mean,skinny,poor or even homeless. They just want to love and be loved. In my whole life I have had numerous dogs. They have each had their own personalities and special qualities.
I was 5 years old when I got my first dog, her name was Blackie, and she was very protective of my brothers and I. She was a Duchsund/mix, If she didn't recognize some one, there was no way she was going to allow them to come close to us. My second dog's name was also Blackie but this one was a boy, he was German Shepherd. He was very mellow and very friendly and loving. My third dog was a Border collie/mix his name was Bear. He was also my loyal companion. He just disappeared one day without a trace. I was devastated, I searched for him for days until I finally knew he was gone forever. I didn't have a dog for a long time after that. Then we got Mia, she was a true angel. She came into our lives and changed our lives completely. She was the most sensitive dog I have ever seen. We only had her a short time. She had severe seizures from epilepsy. Now we have Gretta, German-Shepherd,she is going blind, Max- German shepherd/rotwiler who has been very sick and Bronson Sharpei / Bull Mastiff who thanks to God is healthy. Our dogs have brought so much joy to our lives. I guess you have to have a dog to really appreciate the love and devotion that they give to their families.

I was on another site that I subscribe to and I decided to include this question about our loyal four legged friends, and it was trashed by a person. He made something as innocent as this into something trashy. I just don't understand some people. I get so confused at times about exactly what to say, or how to say things, without having people get the wrong idea about what I am speaking about. Just look at the picture above and see that God made these wonderful animals for us to have as friends and companions. They suffer with us and hurt when we hurt. They would also give their lives for us. How can people mistreat them? I pray that God protect all innocent animals all over the world. Also that God help the homeless, so that they can help themselves. I just love this picture. In the caption it says that this man feeds his loyal companion before he even eats. That is true friendship and I feel God gave us these wonderful animals to be our friends, companions and even our protectors!

Our Beloved Max died
Today we had to euthanize one of our beloved friends. Max our German-Shepherd/Rottwiler. He had been sick for awhile. The vet told us he had tumors. A large one in between his shoulder blades, and that it had spread to his esophagous and possibly to his brain. When I went to see him before the procedure, I was told he had stopped eating and drinking. To me it was a sign from God telling me not to be selfish and that it was time to let him go. I looked into his eyes and I could see how tired he was of being sick, so he is resting in peace now. This is our beloved Max

Large or small I feel that God created dogs to be our loyal and most trusted companions. Dogs don't care if you are fat,skinny, beautiful or ugly. They just see the person that takes care of them and give their love unconditionally. They never complain if the food is cold, or if you forgot to feed them earlier. They are just grateful, for everything that is given to them.They just want a warm bed, shelter and to be fed. They will give their lives for their owners without thinking it twice. These are some of the reasons that I think God gave us the dog as a best friend. I have seen some small dogs like chihuahuas in action to defend their owners. Dogs are protectors, guides, friends and are also like children to their owners. It doesn't matter what kind of dog you choose as your companion small or large, you are guaranteed a friend for life. Some people like small dogs because they can hold them on their laps and carry them every where. Some people like large dogs, they feel more protected with a large dog. Small or large you will recieve unconditional love from your canine best friend. That God for giving us dogs as our protectors, companions and most of all as best friends. They don't care how ridiculous their owners make them look, they stand proud and wear their clothes for their owners to show off.

Just look at this picture, small or large dogs have their own personality. They are not only loyal friends but also guardians and body guards. I feel that they are angels in disguise. If you look close at your dogs shoulders you can see a shadow of wings. They speak with their eyes and if you look closely they will tell you with just one look, just how much they truly love you and care for you.

They don't stop loving you, even when you dress them up and make them look silly. They will even pretend to like the clothes, just so that your feelings don't get hurt. They will model for you just to please you. They will comfort you when you are down. Be faithful to the end.

They will show off their colors just for you. They would even join the Army if you asked them too. They love you, no matter what mood you are in. They don't complain, they don't argue, they listen when you need and ear. They don't even judge you. They love you just the way you are!

It doesn't matter how small they are dogs lose all fear when they need to defend their owners. They will defend you to the death if they need to. Dogs are truly a gift from God! Let us protect and take care of our four-legged friends just as they do for us, let us do for them. They can speak, but they will make themselves understood. God bless our DOGS!

Our Girl Greta
I would like to talk to you about my other two dogs, that are also a blessing in our lives! The first one I would like to talk about is our old lady Greta! My husband and I went to the Humane Society in search of a kitten. I have been wanting a Siamese kitten for a long time. Well needless to say we strayed into the place where they keep the dogs hostage, or prisoners as we call it. We were both looking at a young Siberian Husky, when we heard a very quite bark, a whisper of a bark. We turned to see what was an older Female German Shepherd,trying very hard to get our attention. She was so pityful looking, that she brought tears to our eyes. We felt so sorry for her, but my husband who is so much my protector was worried about me choosing a dog that would die and cause us much grief, since he knows me well and how I grieve for our animals. ( I love my man)We decided to try this dog and we fell in love with her. We were told that she would be put to sleep if she wasn't adopted on this very day. We were told that she had some training, but were not told much about her, only that she was also confiscated from previous owners for cruelly abusing her by neglect. She was skin and bones when we brought her home, and she had been de-barked, and our vet told us some one had done a horrible job with that. She is daddy's girl now, but she also loves her mommy. She is going blind and has severe trouble with her hips, but we adore her. We know that her time will come and have tried to prepare for that, but who is really prepared to lose a loving pet. When we adopted her we knew that she was old, but we wanted her to have atleast a few good years of love, caring and a good home. She has been a wonderful pet and very protective of her daddy. Our girl Greta is another one of God's blessings in our lives. She has brought so much warmth and love into our lives, and we will miss her so much when she finally goes. But in the meantime, we will love,care and make her comfortable. She is our girl!!!

15:12.2 P.180 - §3 The courts of the Ancients of Days are the high review tribunals for the spiritual adjudication of all component universes. The Sovereign Sons of the local universes are supreme in their own domains; they are subject to the supergovernment only in so far as they voluntarily submit matters for counsel or adjudication by the Ancients of Days except in matters involving the extinction of will creatures. Mandates of judgment originate in the local universes, but sentences involving the extinction of will creatures are always formulated on, and executed from, the headquarters of the superuniverse. The Sons of the local universes can decree the survival of mortal man, but only the Ancients of Days may sit in executive judgment on the issues of eternal life and death.

39:1.7 P.428 - §1 2. Court Advisers. These are the seraphic advisers and helpers attached to all orders of adjudication, from the conciliators up to the highest tribunals of the realm. It is not the purpose of such tribunals to determine punitive sentences but rather to adjudicate honest differences of opinion and to decree the everlasting survival of ascending mortals. Herein lies the duty of the court advisers: to see that all charges against mortal creatures are stated in justice and adjudicated in mercy. In this work they are closely associated with the High Commissioners, Spirit-fused ascendant mortals serving in the local universe.

39:4.4 P.434 - §4 2. Justice Guides. These are the angels who present the summary of evidence concerning the eternal welfare of men and angels when such matters come up for adjudication in the tribunals of a system or a planet. They prepare the statements for all preliminary hearings involving mortal survival, statements which are subsequently carried with the records of such cases to the higher tribunals of the universe and the superuniverse. The defense of all cases of doubtful survival is prepared by these seraphim, who have a perfect understanding of all the details of every feature of every count in the indictments drawn by the administrators of universe justice.

112.4.2 P.1231 - §2 In some way not fully understood, the Universal Censors are able to gain possession of an epitome of the human life as it is embodied in the Adjuster's duplicate transcription of the spiritual values and morontia meanings of the indwelt mind. The Censors are able to appropriate the Adjuster's version of the deceased human's survival character and spiritual qualities, and all this data, together with the seraphic records, is available for presentation at the time of the adjudication of the individual concerned. This information is also used to confirm those superuniverse mandates which make it possible for certain ascenders immediately to begin their morontia careers, upon mortal dissolution to proceed to the mansion worlds ahead of the formal termination of a planetary dispensation.

113:6.8 P.1247 - §6 The technique of justice demands that personal or group guardians shall respond to the dispensational roll call in behalf of all nonsurviving personalities. The Adjusters of such nonsurvivors do not return, and when the rolls are called, the seraphim respond, but the Adjusters make no answer. This constitutes the "resurrection of the unjust," in reality the formal recognition of the cessation of creature existence.
