I love this picture because it shows true devotion, between man and his dog.

I was on another site that I subscribe to and I decided to include this question about our loyal four legged friends, and it was trashed by a person. He made something as innocent as this into something trashy. I just don't understand some people. I get so confused at times about exactly what to say, or how to say things, without having people get the wrong idea about what I am speaking about. Just look at the picture above and see that God made these wonderful animals for us to have as friends and companions. They suffer with us and hurt when we hurt. They would also give their lives for us. How can people mistreat them? I pray that God protect all innocent animals all over the world. Also that God help the homeless, so that they can help themselves. I just love this picture. In the caption it says that this man feeds his loyal companion before he even eats. That is true friendship and I feel God gave us these wonderful animals to be our friends, companions and even our protectors!

Our Beloved Max died
Today we had to euthanize one of our beloved friends. Max our German-Shepherd/Rottwiler. He had been sick for awhile. The vet told us he had tumors. A large one in between his shoulder blades, and that it had spread to his esophagous and possibly to his brain. When I went to see him before the procedure, I was told he had stopped eating and drinking. To me it was a sign from God telling me not to be selfish and that it was time to let him go. I looked into his eyes and I could see how tired he was of being sick, so he is resting in peace now. This is our beloved Max



Large or small I feel that God created dogs to be our loyal and most trusted companions. Dogs don't care if you are fat,skinny, beautiful or ugly. They just see the person that takes care of them and give their love unconditionally. They never complain if the food is cold, or if you forgot to feed them earlier. They are just grateful, for everything that is given to them.They just want a warm bed, shelter and to be fed. They will give their lives for their owners without thinking it twice. These are some of the reasons that I think God gave us the dog as a best friend. I have seen some small dogs like chihuahuas in action to defend their owners. Dogs are protectors, guides, friends and are also like children to their owners. It doesn't matter what kind of dog you choose as your companion small or large, you are guaranteed a friend for life. Some people like small dogs because they can hold them on their laps and carry them every where. Some people like large dogs, they feel more protected with a large dog. Small or large you will recieve unconditional love from your canine best friend. That God for giving us dogs as our protectors, companions and most of all as best friends. They don't care how ridiculous their owners make them look, they stand proud and wear their clothes for their owners to show off.


Just look at this picture, small or large dogs have their own personality. They are not only loyal friends but also guardians and body guards. I feel that they are angels in disguise. If you look close at your dogs shoulders you can see a shadow of wings. They speak with their eyes and if you look closely they will tell you with just one look, just how much they truly love you and care for you.


They don't stop loving you, even when you dress them up and make them look silly. They will even pretend to like the clothes, just so that your feelings don't get hurt. They will model for you just to please you. They will comfort you when you are down. Be faithful to the end.



They will show off their colors just for you. They would even join the Army if you asked them too. They love you, no matter what mood you are in. They don't complain, they don't argue, they listen when you need and ear. They don't even judge you. They love you just the way you are!

It doesn't matter how small they are dogs lose all fear when they need to defend their owners. They will defend you to the death if they need to. Dogs are truly a gift from God! Let us protect and take care of our four-legged friends just as they do for us, let us do for them. They can speak, but they will make themselves understood. God bless our DOGS!

Our Girl Greta
I would like to talk to you about my other two dogs, that are also a blessing in our lives! The first one I would like to talk about is our old lady Greta! My husband and I went to the Humane Society in search of a kitten. I have been wanting a Siamese kitten for a long time. Well needless to say we strayed into the place where they keep the dogs hostage, or prisoners as we call it. We were both looking at a young Siberian Husky, when we heard a very quite bark, a whisper of a bark. We turned to see what was an older Female German Shepherd,trying very hard to get our attention. She was so pityful looking, that she brought tears to our eyes. We felt so sorry for her, but my husband who is so much my protector was worried about me choosing a dog that would die and cause us much grief, since he knows me well and how I grieve for our animals. ( I love my man)We decided to try this dog and we fell in love with her. We were told that she would be put to sleep if she wasn't adopted on this very day. We were told that she had some training, but were not told much about her, only that she was also confiscated from previous owners for cruelly abusing her by neglect. She was skin and bones when we brought her home, and she had been de-barked, and our vet told us some one had done a horrible job with that. She is daddy's girl now, but she also loves her mommy. She is going blind and has severe trouble with her hips, but we adore her. We know that her time will come and have tried to prepare for that, but who is really prepared to lose a loving pet. When we adopted her we knew that she was old, but we wanted her to have atleast a few good years of love, caring and a good home. She has been a wonderful pet and very protective of her daddy. Our girl Greta is another one of God's blessings in our lives. She has brought so much warmth and love into our lives, and we will miss her so much when she finally goes. But in the meantime, we will love,care and make her comfortable. She is our girl!!!
